深夜から3時間45分かけて、雨で雪解けピークを迎えた岐阜／揖斐川支流へ向かう。
普段から険悪な沢ですが、今回はハイウォーターでかなり厳しい。
写真では伝えられませんが、アッパーコースは2キロ半の間で5〜7メートル級の滝が30以上、10㍍のスライダーなどドロップ、滝、の連続で、スカウティングしながら思案をする。
ノープールで素直なラピットは殆どなく、捻くれた根性曲がりのラピットばかりで、単独では限界を超えている。
集中力の持続と少しでも弱い心が出れば間違い無しにヤラレます。
ピットインからテイクアウト地点迄上がれる所は無し。
乗る前にギブアップしました。
悔しいので、堰堤下からバックウォーター迄800メートル程ダウンリバーしましたが，十分満足しました。
