唐戸とでmiyamotoさんと一緒にLettmann GranateとDagger ニューNOMADの乗り比べをしました。 Granateはフラットに近いボトムのソフトチャインの為、初期安定性抜群、二次安定性とバランス良く流線的なアクション。水面を舐めるようにラインに移行。カヤックの全てを備えた超優等生で欠点が見つからない。プレイボート並みのサーフィンも得意。相対するNOMADは対照的に円滑なアクション。どこまでもどこまでもエッジング出来、微妙なエッジの角度で自由自在にフットワークが変化する究極のクリークボートです。ボトムロッカーも大きくクリークの為に生まれてきたボートです。 Granateはレーシングがコンセプトの底辺にあるメーカーで、保進性、推進力、軽快なフットワークが持ち味のブレのない切れ味あるパドリングがメチャ愉しいです。四駆で例えると Granateはフォーマルも似合うレンジローバー。NOMADはハマー、メガクルーザーないしFJクルーザー。正にアメリカンです。写ってるのはmiyamotoさん。
