宮本さんと一緒に田中さんに、前から興味のあったホワイトウォーター用のアルパカ.パックラフトを乗せていただく。
感想は同じカテゴリーながら、カヤックとは全く別の乗り物。ボトムがパワーを吸収するように柔らかく、いつも突き上げられている感じ、為にエッジングすればV字バランスが崩れてしまう。全てがフラットで乗るように作られていて、エッジング重視のカヤック乗りには違和感あり、恐怖心すら覚えました。カヤックとは対極する乗り物。パックラフターには頭が下がります。
